 Inactive Bacterial Vaccine against Pasteurellosis,

Blackleg Disease, Malignant Edema, Necrotic Hepatitis, Enterotoxaemia and Diarrhea caused by E. coli in cattle, sheep and goats 

COMPOSITION: Minimum dosages for each 2 ml (1 dose) are as follows:

Clostridium perfringens D Epsilon antitoxin ≥ 5.0 IU/ml in immunized rabbit sera
Clostridium perfringens Beta antitoxin ≥ 10.0 IU/ml in immunized rabbit sera
Clostridium perfringens B In immunized rabbit serum

INDICATIONS

Pascol 10 is used for active immunization on healthy cattle, sheep and goats against Pasteurellosis caused by Pasteurella multocida & Mannheimia haemolytica, Blackleg disease caused by Clostridium chauvoei, Malign Odema / Bradzot Disease caused by Clostridium septicum, Infectious Necrotic Hepatitis (Black Disease) caused by Clostridium novyi (oedematiens), Enterotoxemia caused by Clostridium perfringens Type B, C & D, Diarrhea caused by Escherichia coli.

ADMINISTRATION ROUTE AND DOSAGE

Pascol 10 is used on animals older than 3 months of age at 4 ml, on sheep and goats at 2 ml subcutaneously. 2-4 weeks after first vaccination second dosage is administered. When animals younger than 3 months of age are vaccinated, vaccination should be repeated at 4-6 months of age or at weaning time by considering the presence of maternal antibodies.

 

SPECIAL CLINICAL INFORMATION AND WARNINGS FOR TARGET SPECIES

The product should be used on healthy cattle, sheep and goats older than 2-3 months of age.

The product should be at room temperature prior to use. Cold storage rules should be followed when storing and delivering this product. The products which are frozen and out of the cold chain and have damaged packaging should never be used. The vaccine vials should be homogenized by shaking before and during use. Asepsis and antisepsis rules should be followed during administration of the vaccine.

STORAGE CONDITIONS & SHELF LIFE

The product should be stored at refrigerator (+2°C / +8°C) and dark. Do not freeze. The product should be used on the same day when it is first opened.   The cold chain must be maintained during use. Opened bottles should be stored at +2/+8 ºC. Shelf life is 24 months.
