Monovalent Vaccine for Black Leg Disease in Cattle, Goats and Sheep

Target species: Cattle, sheep & goats
Presentation: 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml

Composition:
Blackfen is prepared from Clostridium chauvoei cultures and inactivated by formaldehyde. It contains aluminium hydroxide as adjuvant.

Indications:
It is recommended for vaccination of healthy, cattle, sheep and goats against Black Leg disease.

Dosage & Administration:
It is administered to cattle, sheep and goats.
Using aseptic technique, inject a single 2 ml dose intramuscularly or subcutaneously to the left side of the neck of cattle or inject 1 ml dose intramuscularly or subcutaneously to the armpit of sheep and goats. Follow with a single dose in 3-4 weeks interval. It is recommended to administer the lambs and goats older than 2 months and calves older than 3-4 months. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.

Precautions:
It is only administered to healthy animals. Shake well before using. Use entire content when first opened. If anaphylactic reactions occur, use adrenalin. Do not vaccinate within 28 days before slaughter.

Storage Conditions:
Store out of direct sunlight and at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze.
