Composition:
Colimix 9 Bacterin & Toxoid is prepared from the cultures of Clostridium novyi Type A, Clostridium septicum, Clostridium sordellii, Clostridium chauvoei, Clostridium haemolyticum, Clostridium perfringens Types B, C & D and Escherichia coli microorganisms inactivated by formaldehyde. It contains aluminium hydroxide as adjuvant and thiomersal as preservative.
Indications:
This Bacterin & Toxoid is recommended for vaccination of healthy cattle, sheep and goats against the diseases caused by the following microorganisms:
Clostridium novyi Type A (Infectious Necrotic Disease = Black Disease),
Clostridium septicum (Malignant Edema, Bradzot)
Clostridium sordellii (Malignant Edema)
Clostridium chauvoei (Black Leg)
Clostridium haemolyticum (Bacillary ictero-haemoglobinuria = Red Water Disease)
Clostridium perfringens (Enterotoxemia)
Clostridium perfringens Type B (Newborn Lamb Dysentery)
Clostridium perfringens Type C (Struck Disease, Hemorragic Enterotoxemia)
Clostridium perfringens Type D (Pulpy Kidney Disease, Overeating Disease)
Escherichia coli (Septicemia neonatorum)
Dosage & Administration:
Shake well before use.
Using aseptic technique, inject 4 ml (single dose) intramuscularly or subcutaneously to the left side of the neck of cattle or inject 2 ml (single dose) intramuscularly or subcutaneously to the armpit of sheep and goats. Follow with a single dose in 3-4 weeks interval.
Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
It is recommended to administer the lambs and goats older than 2 months and calves older than 3-4 months. The vaccinated animals are revaccinated prior to each parturition.
Precautions:
It is only administered to healthy animals. Shake well before use. Use entire content when first opened. If anaphylactic reactions occur, use adrenalin or equivalent. Do not vaccinate within 28 days before slaughter.

Do not vaccinate within 28 days before slaughter.
Storage Conditions:
Store out of direct sunlight and at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze.
Special precautions for the disposal of unused or waste material
Any unused veterinary biological product or waste material derived from such veterinary biological
products should be autoclaved at 121°C during 30 minutes.
