ATAFEN – R&D
R & D activities have been one of the most important factors in the establishment and development of our company. Our first project was “Preparation of a subunit vaccine against E.coli infections that cause calf mortality” supported by TUBITAK.
Afterwards, many R & D projects have been prepared for developing and licensing of the new products. In 2010 – 2013, the project of “Brucellosis Conjunctival Vaccine Production” was carried out and in 2013-2015, the project of “Usage of Saponin Adjuvant in Clostridial Vaccines” was carried out. These projects were supported by TUBITAK.
In 2011 – 2013; Manufacturing of Combined Antiserum against the infections caused by Escherichia coli and Clostridium perfringens”. In 2013 – 2015; “Manufacturing of the vaccine against Salmonella Paratyphoid Infections in poultry”.
In 2016 – 2018; “Preparation of Combined Hyper-Immune Serum (Poli Sera 7) against the respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases in cattle, sheep and goats”. These projects have been supported by TAGEM.
We are cooperating with the Ministry, Institutes, Universities and the private sector to determine the R & D issues. We are evaluating the problems and demands identified by our sales network which are operating in all regions of Turkey.
We encourage networking with the institutes, universities and private sector that contribute significantly to our R&D programs.
